Anglo Holt delivers new hotel in Hampshire

WEST Bromwich construction company Anglo Holt has completed a £2.3mTravelodge hotel in Hampshire.

Travelodge Eastleigh is a 60-bedroom hotel, with ground floor retail space, built on a reclaimed brownfield site.

The scheme, which includes pre-finished bathroom pods and a ‘green roof’, is located next to Eastleigh train station and bus terminal, some ten  miles from Southampton.

The 33-week design and build project was awarded to Anglo Holt by clients Caudwell Properties and Eastleigh Borough Council.

It extends the company’s successful 12-year partnership with Travelodge, which has seen it complete 54 hotels. There are a further eight contracts currently in progress, worth a total of more than £200.5m.

Anglo Holt has an annual turnover in excess of £50m and employs around 100 people.
