GMS saddles up for a secure Sandwell future
Security firm GMS Group has moved to brand new Oldbury headquarters, with big plans for the business and doing good in the community.
Previously based in Bromsgrove, GMS has taken over the 60-acre site of Warrens Hall Riding School on Oakham Road, symbolising a return home for CEO Neil Male, who was raised in Dudley and is determined to give back to the community.
GMS is putting down firm roots in the region, having secured a contract to protect Dudley College sites outside teaching hours, and offering discounts on its alarm response service to Black Country businesses. At its new base, offices have been refurbished, the entire site modernised and the riding school facilities redeveloped, alongside a residential annexe. Not only will GMS be running its nationwide security business from the location, it also plans to work with local charities to make sure local people can take part in equestrian activities.
CEO Neil Male said: “With a strong interest in equestrian sports and the benefits horse riding can bring to many communities, we plan to work with local charities to open the doors for them to make use of our new home in their work. Our new home will be integral to our business strategy and our community work as we build for the future.”
