On Wednesday 20 September West Bromwich Albion Football Club, will be hosting a Baggies business breakfast, combining it with an interesting speaker and chance to network, as well as a breakfast roll.
This morning’s event is all about transport and the current issues concerning the Black Country.
Alastair Warnes, Service Delivery Manager at Highways England, will be giving an overview of the M5 Oldbury Viaduct project, detailing what the project is, why it is happening, the progress being made and the current timescales on this, the largest concrete repair project ever undertaken in the UK.
They will also be joined by Paula Gray, the procurement lead for the Midland Metro Alliance who will provide an update of their plans for infrastructural development throughout the region. In particular, they will be discussing their progress in replacing the aged tram lines and surrounding concrete areas and answer any questions that delegates may have concerning the ongoing works within the community.
The event includes plenty of opportunities to network.
Venue: West Bromwich Albion FC, 9 Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, B71 4LF
