New aerospace orders for Rowley Regis firm

Cube Precision EngineeringCube Precision Engineering logo, based on Cakemore Road in Rowley Regis, has landed over £675,000 of orders in the aerospace sector over the last two months.

The business, which celebrated its tenth year in 2019 and was featured on #MadeInSandwell Monday, designs and makes parts for all sorts of machines, including commercial jets, high speed rail and racing cars.

The company secured a £300,000 funding package in December, which enabled the purchase of new machinery. This helped Cube continue to manufacture during the pandemic, even making parts for a machine to make face masks, and land a raft of new contracts.

The new orders will allow the company to bring all but two of its 42 staff back from furlough, and more than double expected revenue for the year.

Think Sandwell wishes Cube congratulations on their resilience at such a challenging time. To find out how we can help your business make the most of procurement and tendering opportunities, visit our Business Services pages.
