West Bromwich office space in demand

A large brick office building with lots of windows.Demand for office space in Sandwell is growing as national probation and employment services provider Ingeus UK signs a six-year lease on 4,470 sq ft in Kingston House in West Bromwich.

Ingeus specialises in creating and delivering services in employment, health, justice and youth.

It works with local and national governments on a range of projects aimed at helping people develop their prospects and potential. It also works with commercial employers to support workforce development and recruitment.

It delivers services in four specialist areas across the whole of the UK:

  • Employment – Ingeus has supported over 250,000 people into suitable, lasting work
  • Health – the company helps prevent people at high risk of diabetes from developing the condition
  • Justice – it will help 150,000 ex-offenders to rehabilitate over six years
  • Youth services – Ingeus has signed up over 37,000 young people onto the National Citizen Service.

Ingeus works with over 70 partner organisations from the public, private and third sectors, each carefully selected to ensure they share our values. Founded in Australia, Ingeus now has a global team of over 2,700 people working in ten countries.

The company has taken the office space in Sandwell as it is expanding its presence in the region. The space on the first floor of the six-storey office block in West Bromwich is part of a growth drive.

The deal is further evidence that the office market is flourishing and demand has steadily increased throughout 2021, according to Black Country-based property agents Bond Wolfe.

There is strong interest in the remaining space at Kingston House.
