AA expands in Oldbury with new ten-year lease
The AA has signalled its commitment to the region by signing a new ten-year lease on its Oldbury premises, expanding its operation by taking over the whole building.
Swallowfield One in Oldbury is the main call centre for the AA’s road operations. Until recently, the premises were shared with British Gas, but following the energy service’s departure, the AA decided to expand into the remaining office space.
The new ten-year lease, negotiated by a team from the Midlands office of property consultancy GVA, is part of the AA’s long-term strategy to build a centre of excellence in Oldbury, which is ideally situated close to the heart of the UK’s motorway network.
The extra parking and office space will provide new opportunities for the business to develop and is likely to bring more jobs to Oldbury and the surrounding area.
Think Sandwell wishes the AA all the best for its future developments in the region. To find out how we can help your business grow, visit our Business Services pages.
