Black Country units in demand
There are only two units left at the Old Park Industrial Estate in Wednesbury after the first six have all been snapped up, just six months after a major refurbishment by the landlord.
The three companies who are currently renting the units all use the site for storage and distribution, thanks to its central location and easy access to the Black Country’s transport network, including proximity to the M6 and Birmingham International Airport.
Nord Composites is a French producer of resins, gel coats, bonding pastes and pigments and has taken on 23,000 square feet at the industrial estate. A further 16,250 square feet is being used by Clevedon Fasteners, a company founded in 1939 that produces components for the automotive industry, and 7,170 square feet is occupied by courier company Midlands Associates.
Only two units of 8,000 square feet remain available at the site and, with the current high demand for modern industrial units in the region, they are not expected to remain empty for much longer.
Anyone interested should visit property consultancy Harris Lamb’s website or call them on 0121 455 9455. If those units aren’t what you’re looking for, don’t forget to check out Think Sandwell’s property and planning pages for a list of other available sites in the region.
