Charity #madeinsandwell comes to the high street: new store opening today!
CT Furniture is opening a new charity shop in West Bromwich today!
If you need some new furniture and at a bargain price head on down to the new shop at Kings Square, Sandwell Centre in West Bromwich.
CT Furniture, which was featured as one of our #madeinsandwell stars way back in April last year, is a charity that collects and sells secondhand furniture to businesses and to individuals on low incomes or at transitional stages in their lives.
Previously it has always been located in warehouse units, selling furniture donated by the public at reasonable prices to the local community. The opening of its store at Kings Square on Monday 29 June marks the start of its venture into a high street setting.
The charity’s aim for the new shop is to sell a range of good quality used furniture at great value to the public. All the income from the furniture sales will still go towards supporting its other charitable activities in passenger transport services.
CT Furniture is a division of the charity Community Transport, which provides caring community transport and transport training across the West Midlands, the northwest and northeast of England.
The shop opens at 9am on Monday 29 June at Unit 1, Kings Square, Sandwell Centre, West Bromwich.
Keep up the good work, CT Furniture, and good luck with the opening!
