Sandwell Council is off to Cannes for MIPIM, an international property event running from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 17 March.

MIPIM, short for Le Marché International des Professionnels de L’immobilier, is hosted by events company RX France and has been running since 1991. It aims to facilitate business between investors, local authorities, hospitality professionals, corporate end-users, logistics companies and other professionals in the real estate sector.

The four-day event includes an exhibition area, networking sessions, discussions, keynote speeches, panels and presentations. Sandwell Council will be part of the West Midlands delegation in a pavilion showcasing our region as one of the most attractive UK places for international investment.

Sandwell: lots to be proud of

A Sandwell Council team will be attending MIPIM to spread the word about the opportunities in our borough. It has produced an investment brochure outlining the benefits of our growing and diverse population, stable business base and well-connected infrastructure. 

The brochure also contains overviews of current development projects the West Bromwich Masterplan, Grove Lane Masterplan, Brandhall Village and Friar Park, as well as recent successes such as Sandwell Aquatics Centre the Midland Metro extension and Towns Fund investments.

The team who will be representing Sandwell Council in France to the international real estate community have lots to be proud of, and they are very much looking forward to spreading the word about the great opportunities Sandwell offers.
