Sandwell firm Latham’s Security Doorsets Ltd has been approved by Zhejiang Hongli Locks Co. Ltd as an authorised UK distribution partner for HOOPLY^Ò products throughout the UK and Europe. The official authorisation gives Latham’s the responsibility to promote, distribute, retail and offer technical advice for HOOPLY^Ò manufactured products.

HOOPLY^Ò is one of three registered brands created by Zhejiang Hongli Locks, a world-renowned manufacturer of burglar-proof door locks and related hardware products. The company has an annual output capacity of 10 million locks.

Latham’s of Tividale have long been a retailer of HOOPLY^Ò products, with their handles and locks being supplied with all their steel personnel doors as standard.

The family-owned company is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of steel security doors, and it specialises in security doors including steel personnel doors, fire exit doors and stock fire rated doors.

It aims to provide a high quality, cost effective, alternative to traditional doors, to improve both the level of protection and the aesthetics of a building. It supplies a wide range of designs for both residential and industrial uses.

Established in 2011, the firm has continued to innovate and grow. As we reported back in October 2018, over the last 12 months Latham’s has opened a new office building, 6,320 square feet of warehouse space and increased its workforce, including the recruitment of several apprentice positions incorporating warehouse and marketing.

Its latest achievement of gaining authorised partner status acknowledges that Latham’s are the most suitable distributor to uphold the reputation for high quality that HOOPLY^Ò products have across Europe.

Recognising the importance of research and development to continually meet the needs of customers, Latham’s and Hongli Locks have worked in close partnership on the design and manufacture of a new security handle.

This latest HOOPLY^Ò handle is a security upgrade handle made from heavy-duty stainless-steel materials and features an anti-drill euro cylinder cover. It’s suitable for a wide variety of uses including security personnel doors and commercial and industrial doors such as converted shipping containers.
