Vaccination: our key to beating Covid-19
Vaccination is an essential part of banishing Covid-19 and helping our region recover from the pandemic. Sandwell businesses can play a big part by encouraging their workforce to get vaccinated.
The NHS is offering support to employers to help them protect themselves and their staff by encouraging uptake of the vaccine. Smaller employers, with up to 50 employees, are being asked to direct staff to this NHS website. It lists all the walk-in clinics offering the vaccine across the Black Country and West Birmingham, as well as a downloadable guide from Public Health England giving information about all aspects of the vaccine.
Do follow the NHS Black Country and West Birmingham CCG on Twitter for regular updates.
For larger employers, with over 50 unvaccinated employees, it may be possible to arrange a pop-up clinic on site. Email communications.bcwb@nhs.net to arrange this, giving your contact details and postal address.
While vaccination is a key factor in beating Covid-19, it is important to remember that the pandemic is not over. It’s vital that we remain cautious and play our part in keeping Sandwell safe.
