If running your business leaves you pushed for time, you can now save a little by paying your business rates with a direct debit.

Sandwell Council is encouraging local businesses to sign up to pay their business rates by direct debit as this is the safest and easiest way to pay. It’s easy to set one up online and you can make changes to an existing direct debit.

Business rates are payable in ten monthly instalments normally starting on 1 April each year or, in the case of direct debit payments 15 April. 

If you’d prefer to make payments over twelve months this can be arranged by contacting the business rates team.
