Boost staff wellbeing with a Thrive at Work webinar

Thrive at Work logoThrive at Work is a free workplace wellbeing programme run by West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), aimed at helping workers in the Midlands to feel healthier and more productive.

The programme educates employers on how to cut staff sickness absence, increase engagement and improve retention of the workforce. It hopes to empower employers to take a proactive approach to build employee and organisational resilience.

WMCA is holding an interactive online event on Thursday 28 October to provide more information for local businesses about the Thrive at Work programme.

The event is aimed at anyone with middle or senior management roles with an interest in and a responsibility for workforce health and wellbeing, including company directors, line managers, human resources departments and SMEs.

The programme is fully funded for organisations with eight or more employees in the Midlands region and supported by the WMCA’s accreditation team.

Thrive at Work focuses on key organisational enablers of health such as attendance management, policies and procedures in addition to health areas such as mental, musculoskeletal and physical health and promoting healthy lifestyles.

There are four levels to the programme at which an organisation can achieve accreditation. Each level covers a number of different themes, starting at the foundation level and progressing on to bronze, silver and gold levels. Organisations can set the level they want to achieve and work at their own pace to implement the criteria.

The webinar is being held on Thursday 28 October, from 2 – 2.45pm. To register your place  visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/boost-staff-wellbeing-thrive-at-work-28-october-2021-tickets-167725295875.
