Entries open for small business awards

FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards logoThis year’s FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards are now open for entries.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is a non-profit organisation that has been supporting small businesses and self-employed people for over 45 years. It runs networking events, offers legal advice and insurance protection, and celebrates the achievements of UK small businesses through its annual awards.

The awards are free to enter, and the entry process offers an opportunity to reflect on your company’s successes. A win, locally or nationally, could help put your company in the spotlight.

Awards are up for grabs in twelve categories:

  • Business & Product Innovation Award
  • Community Award
  • Diversity & Inclusion Award
  • Exporter of the Year
  • Family Business of the Year
  • Larger Small Business of the Year
  • Micro Business of the Year
  • Self Employed / Freelancer of the Year
  • Service Excellence Award
  • Start-Up Business of the Year
  • Sustainability Award
  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year

You can enter as many categories as you like, but only one entry per category. The deadlines for submission vary across the country, but for the West Midlands is Thursday 26 January 2023.

Entries will be judged by a panel of leading business experts, with the West Midlands awards ceremony taking place in March 2023. Winners will go through to the national final, which takes place in Birmingham on Thursday 18 May.
