Compete for a Cosy Communities commission

Cosy Communities: bringing cosy creativity to warm spaces this winterCreative Black Country is looking to award up to twelve commissions of up to £2000 for creative activities in cosy community spaces across the Black Country.

The micro commissions are available for projects that will bring fun, joy, connection and creativity to local people in warm spaces. Activities should take place by Friday 31 March 2023, in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall or Wolverhampton.

Proposals will need to offer a warm and accessible indoor space with comfortable seating and free warm drinks and refreshments. They will also need to be adequately staffed and insured, and be open to sharing resources offering advice on keeping warm and tackling the cost of living.

If you have an idea, but need support to shape it into a proposal, then Creative Black Country has advisers that can help. For details of who to contact in your region, as well as more information about the scheme and how to apply, visit the Cosy Communities website.

Don’t delay! The deadline for project submissions is Friday 9 December at 9am.
