Frozen food giant Iceland will be launching a new experimental retail unit in Tipton within the next few weeks.

The 18,000 square feet of warehouse space will be used to store products for online orders and, in a first for Iceland, will not be open to the public. The unit will be based at the Link One Trading Estate in Great Bridge and is the final unit on the site to be filled.

Link One, overseen by property firm Harris Lamb, has recently been refurbished and is strategically located with easy access to national transport networks. This makes it a very appealing site for the Iceland’s first ‘dark store’, which is expected to be up and running by the end of August.
