MIPIM UK 2016, the UK’s largest gathering for property professionals, will have a special Midlands delegation this year.

The exhibition takes place at Olympia London from Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 October, providing conferences, exhibitions, networking events and an awards ceremony for international and local investors, developers, occupiers and property professionals.

This year, the Greater Birmingham regions are joining forces at the exhibition to showcase their investment offer.

Throughout the three days of MIPIM UK, a range of multi-million pound development opportunities will be highlighted by representatives from Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country.

The team will promote, amongst other things, the £1bn Curzon Investment Plan (designed to leverage opportunities created by HS2) to the country’s leading investors, agents and developers.

This is a precursor to MIPIM 2017 in Cannes, where the Greater Birmingham delegation will promote the Midlands Engine on a world stage (read the Midlands Engine for Growth prospectus here). This will be a landmark collaboration, seeing the Midlands regions come together on an unprecedented scale to exhibit £14bn worth of investment opportunities to MIPIM 2017’s 20,000-strong delegation.
