Planning permission has already been granted to convert the property into seven self-contained flats. Work should start later this year, with the first phase being complete and ready to open in Spring 2017.

Select Lifestyles offers supportive living and residential and day services for adults with learning disabilities. It has operated successfully across the West Midlands since 2007, when it was founded by a team of four individuals with backgrounds in the health service, local authority and independent care provision.

Select Lifestyles delivers services that are inclusive, individually designed and that accommodate individual specific needs. It has taken a six year lease on the site at All Saints Way in West Bromwich, with the option to eventually purchase it.

The one acre West Bromwich site had been considered suitable for a variety of uses including offices, leisure/gym facilities, day nursery and schooling. It includes a three storey main building, a former office block and a three bedroom detached house.

The services that Select Lifestyles offer include supported living, residential services for adults aged 18-65 and day services. It provides community-based support services packages within specialised centres aswell as utilising community resources.

The interior décor of each flat in the converted property will be tailored to meet the individual tastes of each tenant.
