On Friday 17 February, the chamber is holding their first consultation event and they would like to encourage businesses to come along and have their say.

Black Country Chamber of Commerce is calling for a comprehensive regional economic development strategy and have identified key areas that need to be addressed. This includes a greater share of capital investment in the Midlands, a focus on the future of intelligent manufacturing, investment in infrastructure development and support to develop skills.

There will be a second event detailing the chamber’s regional response relating to the industrial strategy green paper on Friday March 17 before sending a report before the consultation deadline in April.
