A Sandwell forklift components supplier is moving to a new premises in West Bromwich to support its recent growth.

Midland Group is already located in West Bromwich but needs a bigger space in order to allow the business to develop further. It wants to remain in West Bromwich due to strong transport links making it easy to dispatch its products to its customers.

The company is moving from a site in Jervoise Street to a 33,000 square feet industrial unit in Colliery Road. It hopes that the move will create new jobs for the area as its growth continues.

Midland Group, established in 1988, currently employs 18 people. It is a leading supplier to the materials handling sector within the rotating electrics market. Its expertise includes AC-DC motors, starter motors, alternators, hydraulic pumps and carbon brushes.

It provides re-engineered electric motors and holds the UK’s largest range of forklift starter motors and alternators. The move to a bigger premises will enable the company to continue refurbishing obsolete motors while developing a new on-site training facility.

Midland Group hopes to be settled in its new premises by the summer.
