Corrugated packaging company Diamond Box has purchased the UK’s first dual print corrugated cardboard printing press.

Diamond Box was founded in West Bromwich in 2007 by Kavi and Rani Jundu. The company has grown quickly, achieving an impressive 29 per cent increase in sales in 2016, to become the largest independent single-site cardboard box manufacturer in the Midlands. It produces over two million cardboard cartons every week, has its own fleet of HGVs and employs over 100 members of staff.

The company puts its success down to providing an “unbeatable” combination of service, quality and value, offering consistently high-quality products at competitive rates and with the best lead times in the market. The business invests in new technology every year in order to stay current and efficient. This latest machinery will increase capacity significantly, help maintain the company’s position as a market leader and support expansion into the e-commerce sector.

The purchase was made possible through an £8m asset finance package from Bibby Financial Services and supports Diamond Box’s ambitious plans to continue to grow the business into the future.
