On Tuesday 23 January the Knowledge Transfer Network invite you to attend a workshop that will feature a range of speakers from the agri-food and imaging sectors, presenting examples of ongoing projects. This will be held at The Studio, Birmingham.
The agri-food sector faces many challenges, particularly the need to increase production to feed a growing population whilst limiting environmental impacts. The decreasing cost of cameras and sensors as well as a huge increase in computing power means that new imaging technologies are now viable options for the agri-food sector.
These emerging imaging technologies will add value across the sector, from optimising inputs using precision agriculture to increasing the efficiency of food manufacturing lines. You can read an overview of recent sector developments here.
Venue : The Studio, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP
