Transervice Training makes a #madeinsandwell Monday first

LGV training vehicle by TranserviceIn October we brought you a #madeinsandwell Monday feature on Transervice Express Transport, a Sandwell logistics company which delivers palletised freight all over the UK and Europe.

This week we’re making a #madeinsandwell Monday first by celebrating another aspect of the same business group.

Established in 2015, Transervice Training Ltd is a leading provider of logistics-related training courses, offering training to meet both employers’ and individuals’ needs.

The West Bromwich company delivers an impressive portfolio of courses and qualifications including forklift training, HGV driver training, Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and apprenticeships. Courses can be delivered from Transervice’s premises on Church Lane, or from customers’ own premises.

Transervice also offers forklift truck training and HGV training courses for unemployed people. The company has recently been awarded funding through Black Country Impact to train 18 to 29-year-olds who are not currently in employment, education or training to become HGV drivers of the future.

Having worked in logistics training for over 20 years, sales director Darren Parker has extensive knowledge in delivering government-funded contracts, commercial training and a range of logistics-related apprenticeships.

“We have excellent links with local employers, job centres and awarding bodies and are passionate about providing people with the required skills to have a successful career within this sector,” said Darren. “There is a current shortage of both operatives and drivers so this is good for both trainees and potential employers”.

Darren also pointed out Transervice’s ideal location “in the heart of the West Midlands and within easy reach of the motorway network”.
