Free website sessions for third sector businesses in Sandwell

Walk out with a website poster PIXELAre you a Sandwell-based charity, community group or TRA (tenants and residents association) and in need of a website?

During this year’s iSandwell Digital Festival, Sandwell Council and Sandwell Libraries are teaming up with digital experts Data Brew to run ‘Walk out with a website’ sessions across Sandwell.

At one of these sessions, charities, community groups and TRAs will have the opportunity to get a brand new website designed for free, and receive tailored advice from a digital professional.

The idea behind the sessions is to support any Sandwell organisation without a website that does good in the community. The aim is to help them become digital savvy. The events are taking place across the borough on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 May.

If you would like to attend and get a website built you must register to reserve a place. Once registered you will be asked to provide the information necessary to create your website and be given a time slot. The session will take around 15 minutes.

If you would like to book a slot please email gareth@databrew.org.uk or sign up here.

The sessions are taking place at the following Sandwell libraries:

Thursday 16 May, 10-11.30am Oldbury Library

Thursday 16 May, 12-3pm Blackheath Library

Thursday 16 May, 3-5pm Glebefields Library

Friday 17 May, 10-12pm Smethwick Library
