Advisers on hand to help exporters recover

Trade advisers from the Department for International Trade (DIT) are working with Black Country businesses to help them make the most of export opportunities, even in the current challenging circumstances.

Information, advice and support is available to businesses experiencing issues with existing exports, or businesses thinking of expanding into new export markets. Experts are on hand to discuss individual circumstances and identify the best way to help.

Advisers can work with companies to put together contingency and recovery plans, as well as suggest ways to keep up to date with current requirements, regulations, restrictions and opportunities in relation to Brexit, intellectual property, customs, agents, distributors, suppliers, online sales, digital presence, export opportunities and finding new routes to market. There is also a series of free webinars on a variety of topics, such as e-commerce, culture and communication, international marketing and managing supply chains.
