Over four years, a funding programme has helped 92 businesses in Sandwell with face-to-face support and, in many cases, grant funding.

At this Business Breakfast Briefing, the Chamber’s Alliance 4 the Black Country will present the results of the Chamber's Quarterly Economic Survey and explain the implications for the local economy.
The British Chambers of Commerce Quarterly Economic survey is designed to monitor key economic performance indicators such as domestic trade, exports, employment, levels of investment, cash flow, prices and business confidence. The breakfast is also a chance to give your opinion on the key external issues which affect you and your views on our future relationship with Europe.
A key part of the meeting is an interactive voting system which allows attendees to vote in confidence on the key questions of the day – these are recorded and Black Country Chamber can monitor and feedback changes and trends live on the day.

UKTI have teamed up with the MIA to host a group of up to 20 potential overseas buyers and inward investors at the MIA Energy Efficient Motorsport Conference and Autosport International Show at the NEC in Birmingham from Wednesday 13th January to Friday 15th January 2016.
Representatives from overseas companies have been invited to attend the EEMS Conference facilitating engagement with UK motorsport and high performance engineering companies in the low carbon and energy efficient sectors. Additionally, participants will utilise the MIA Autosport International Members-Only Business Lounge throughout the two trade-only days of the show, where the MIA will arrange one-to-one meetings with UKTI Commercial Officers, UK motorsport and automotive companies, international buying organisations and potential and existing overseas inward investors. It is also planned that the MIA Business Excellence Awards Dinner will be included in the agenda, further enhancing the networking and trade opportunities of this visit.

The breakfasts will explore opportunities and discuss a wide range of topics as well as examining future trends and potential within the Black Country and West Midlands area for those involved with the construction supply chain.
This Construction Connections explores the implications to the Construction industry of the Autumn Statement in the Black Country. The 2015 Autumn Statement identifies a "Five Point Plan" that is said to be "...the most ambitious plan since the 1970s to build homes that support working people in their aim to buy their own home." Speakers include Alan Yates from Accord Housing who will give his take on the implications as one of the largest housing groups in the region. Plus a local authority perspective and an overview of how it could affect our local supply chain.
