    14/11/2014

Come to Think Sandwell's Breakfast Club at Sandwell Council House on Friday 14 November 2014 and meet buyers from BAM Construction.

We'll be focusing on BAM Construction's latest project in the West Midlands: the development of the new University Technical College (UTC) on the former site of Sandwell College in West Bromwich High Street.

The £10m UTC [pictured: artist's impression] is being opened to address a shortage in skilled health workers. The building will feature a rooftop games area and gym, laboratories, simulation units, a mock hospital ward, IT suites and a visualisation centre.

During the breakfast meeting, you'll hear from Mark Ramessa, National Supply Chain Manager from BAM Construction. He'll bring his team of buyers to tell you about works packages being generated as a result of the development - and how your business may be able to supply them.

If you're interested in having a brief one-to-one meeting with a BAM Construction buyer during the morning, please let us know when you sign up.

As well as coffee, tea, complimentary breakfast baps and lots of networking opportunities (our Breakfast Clubs regularly attract over 200 attendees), there will be a welcome speech from Sandwell Council's CEO Jan Britton.

The event will take place on Friday 14 November from 6:45am (registration) to around 9am in the impressive chamber rooms of Sandwell Council House (Freeth Street, Oldbury B69 3DE). It is free to attend. You can park in the council car park: just make sure you collect a token from reception at the end of the event so you can get out again!

To sign up, email stephen_massey@sandwell.gov.uk with your details and be sure to tell him if you'd like to apply for a one-to-one meeting with the BAM Construction team.
