Over four years, a funding programme has helped 92 businesses in Sandwell with face-to-face support and, in many cases, grant funding.

One of the benefits of working with UKTI is the access you get to a worldwide network of contacts. One of those contacts, Matthew Zoerink, British Consulate-General, Chicago is visiting the Black Country to help local companies access the USA market. The Black Country Growth Hub invites you to a FREE new business start-up seminar at Sandwell Central Library. These events are specifically designed for individuals who want to set up and run their own successful new business.
The seminar will cover a variety of aspects, including; business planning, legal status and legalities, taxation and next steps.

The Government Construction Strategy, published by the Cabinet office on 31st May 2011, announced the Government’s intention to require collaborative 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) on its projects by 2016. Organisations in the construction industry unable to deliver BIM services will be at a major disadvantage compared to competitors
