This programme is for anyone involved in the despatch or purchase of goods internationally and who needs to be able to select the most suitable Incoterms® rule to use for their international despatches. Content includes: - How can your business work efficiently and safely within the commercial terms (‘Incoterms ® 2010 ’) defined by the International Chamber of Commerce?

    This half day workshop is also for anyone working in international trade – from industry newcomers to experienced importers or exporters.     Improving supply chain integration in construction

    The UK Government has recently published the Industrial Strategy green paper: a long-term plan to put research and innovation at the heart of industrial strategy.

    Innovation in resource-efficient low carbon manufacturing and improving supply chain integration when managing a portfolio of infrastructure projects has therefore never been so critical.

    Join the Supply Chain Research Group at the Discovery Day to learn more about improving supply chain integration and developing infrastructure that is fit for the future.

    Professor Jan Godsell will discuss the findings of a recently completed research project looking at supply chain integration in construction during the morning session. The session will also explore how the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF), could support business-academic collaboration to transform the construction industry.

    On Friday 26 May Wolverhampton City Council is hosting a free breakfast briefing for local house builders

    Wolverhampton City Council is addressing the housing crisis with a new initiative to build homes for sale and rent on land owned by the city.

    In partnership with Wolverhampton Homes the Council has set on a new company which will design and develop homes across the city on large and small sites to meet the needs of the community.

    The council wishes to use local building materials and local house builders to ensure they maximise on the employment opportunities and ensure the money spent, where possible, stays in the local economy.

    If you are a local house builder this event will inform you of the opportunities to build homes, particularly on small sites over the coming months and years and provide direct access to those managing this programme so you can ask any questions you may have.
