On Monday 27 March Black Country firms are invited by Sandwell Council to attend a valuable breakfast workshop and learn how they could tap into multi-million pound engineering works opportunities aligned to the construction of the iconic London to Birmingham high-speed rail project.

LM JV recently won the contract to kickstart the enabling works on the Curzon Street station to Birmingham interchange section of the linear route. For this massive rail transportation project LM and its top-tier contractors will need a high-quality pool of material and component suppliers, civil engineering, subcontract and support services.

Over a complimentary cooked breakfast, you will get the opportunity to meet with senior procurement, category managers and supply chain leads from LM. You will learn about the supply chain opportunities and the essential advanced construction skills, such as BIM, that they look for in their suppliers - plus the approvals required by prospective lower-tier suppliers and sub-contractors.
