Entrepreneurs for the Future Advisory Mentor, Roy Meredith, will be holding a round table session to share his vast knowledge and experience in start-ups and mobile app publishing.

Roy works within Business Birmingham in a senior capacity providing support and advice to companies looking to set-up or establish their businesses within the city.

Working across a number of commercial sectors but with a core focus on tech, digital media and creative services, he advises on property, funding, business planning, recruitment and training, marketing, and introductions to professional services and centres of excellence.

Prior to joining Business Birmingham, he held senior commercial and software development roles across the computer games, film and music industries for high profile companies such as Disney, Electronic Arts, Sony Studios, Universal, and Square Enix.

He has held overall responsibility for numerous well known brands on both a regional and global basis and has extensive experience of marketing and publishing highly successful products across a range of formats and media (online, physical, smart phone / tablet) and of working with multi-nationals, small studios and developers.

He has worked on both games and apps within smart-phone / tablets (across the world) and is highly experienced at successfully bringing products to market from inception, planning, design and development, through to marketing, promotion and publishing and he is very well versed in navigating the many pitfalls that developers face in bringing their products to market within the challenging smart-phone environment.
