Head of Trade and Investment, UKTI British Embassy Belgrade Serbia to visit Sandwell and The Black Country
Following Sandwell’s successful hosting of an 18 strong high level Serbian delegation at Growing Green 2012 in March, Alex Brookes, Head of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy, Belgrade, Serbia, will be visiting the Black Country, to highlight emerging opportunities for British companies stemming from the region.
The event is being organised by The Black Country Chamber of Commerce, details are below.

Car Parking The Copthorne does have a large car park but it does become very busy and Westfield have kindly offered the use of their spaces on the Waterfront areas. There’s car parking on both sides of the canal and the Copthorne can be accessed via the footbridges if anyone parks on the East side (access is gained just past Brewers Wharf). Parking restrictions have been removed for the date of the event.
The hotel is signposted on the Merryhill and Waterfront Site. To get to the hotel from the M5 Junction 4: follow A491 Stourbridge and after 5¼ miles you will reach Hagley. From here turn right at the roundabout and then left at the traffic lights. At the next 2 roundabouts follow the A4036 signs. You will come to another set of traffic lights (with the Merry Hill Centre on the left) go straight on, following the A4036. At the next set of traffic lights turn left into Level Street (B4179). At the next roundabout go straight on, the hotel is on the right. From the M5 Junction 2: follow A4123 Dudley; after 2.5 miles you will reach Burnt Tree roundabout. (Please note severe roadwork’s and delays) Continue following A461 to Stourbridge/Merry Hill Centre. At the Castlegate roundabout turn left onto Dudley Town Centre Bypass (A461). At the second roundabout follow the bear right sign posted to Merry Hill. Keep going for approximately 1 mile and then turn left at the Scots Green Island sign posted to Brierley Hill A461. At the next set of traffic lights (approx half a mile) turn left on A4036. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Level Street (B4179) – you will see McDonalds on your right. At the next roundabout go straight on, the hotel is approx 50 yards on the right.
