£10m ‘Optimising Food Composition’ competition now open
Is your business in the food industry? Innovate UK has just launched a £10m Optimising Food Composition competition which you may be interested in entering.
The competition is looking to boost firms that can reduce either salt, sugar, fat and/or increase dietary fibre across the whole food chain from primary production to food manufacturing. It can fund project costs of between £250,000 to £1m (at funding rates of 50 to 70 per cent, depending on the size of your business)
Innovate UK is a public body (sponsored by the government’s Department for Business, Innovation & Skills) which works with people, companies and partner organisations to find and drive science and technology innovations that will grow the UK economy.
Learn more about the funding on this page of the Innovate UK website. Please note that registration closes on Wednesday 18 November 2015, one week before the competition deadline on Wednesday 25 November 2015.
