Repose ready for growth after factory move

Black Country manufacturer Repose Furniture has relocated to a 23,000 sq ft factory after boosting turnover by 21 per cent. The move is expected to double production and revenues at the business.

Based in Cradley Heath, the seat maker has moved to Cokeland Place expanding its manufacturing facility and its showroom in a bid to meet growing demand.

Sales are on track to recording a figure in excess of £3.5m this year after previously peaking at £2.9m.

Managing director Lisa Wardley said: “We have experienced a really fantastic year which has been topped off with our factory move, enabling us to increase our production capabilities.

“As we approach our 15th anniversary next year we are set for even further growth and are on track to double our turnover as we increase our sales efforts further.”

Repose has created a number of jobs for the area following the factory move and it hopes to recruit up to ten more in the coming months throughout its upholstery, wood mill and labour departments.

The business makes specialist chairs and seats for care homes and hospices throughout the UK.
