This #madeinsandwell Monday star is going places: Transervice Express Transport
Our #madeinsandwell Monday star this week is family-run firm Transervice Express Transport Ltd of West Bromwich. Transervice provides total logistics solutions, delivering palletised freight all over the UK and Europe.
The company was established in 1979 by Paul Johnson, who is still the managing director today. Paul started the business working from home with one van and since then the company has grown steadily.
Paul attributes the company’s success partly to the solid commercial foundation that he built – providing a basis for sustainable growth – and partly to the reputation the company has gained for its commitment to service and high quality. The team works closely with its customers to forge long-standing relationships.
The business has survived several economic recessions and seen many changes in a very competitive industry but has always maintained its reliable customer service.
Having expanded over the years, Transervice now offers more diverse services to its ever-expanding customer base. It provides dedicated transport services including full and part loads, same day, next day and two to three-day economy services to UK and Europe, and also short and long-term storage and warehousing services.
As a member of The Pallet Network (TPN), the firm can offer a reliable, nationwide delivery service for palletised freight on a next-day or economy basis along with premium timed services.
Transervice’s 44,000 square feet facility in West Bromwich provides secure warehousing with pick and pack options, as well as both long and short-term flexible storage options. A modern fleet of vehicles allows Transervice to offer a total logistics solution from single pallets to full loads and anything in between.
Based in the heart of Sandwell, within easy reach of the motorway network, Transervice is ideally situated to provide the flexible collection and delivery times that it offers customers.
Approaching its 40th anniversary, Transervice continues to go from strength to strength. Its future plans include continued growth and the same reliable, cost-effective services that is has always provided for its customers. We wish the team all the best!
