The 2018 Sandwell Business Awards dinner will take place at Sandwell College this evening (Thursday 12 July).

Presented by ITV’s Sameena Ali-Khan, the awards are organised collectively by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, Sandwell Business Solutions Centre, Sandwell College and Sandwell Council.

We share the aim of celebrating businesses and individuals who are boosting the economy and making a positive contribution to the skills and life chances of local people and their wider community.

The categories are:

Start-up Business in Sandwell
Business Innovation Award
Contribution to Local Community Award
Education Business Award
Sandwell Top 50 Award*
Commitment to Apprenticeships Award
Sandwell Business Person of the Year

*The winner of the Sandwell Top 50 award is already known by Think Sandwell. It’s the company which heads our Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies Index for 2018 – which we will be launching during the ceremony.

This is the fourth year in which we have compiled such a report, which celebrates the  borough’s fastest growing businesses in growth terms, and thanks them for their huge economic contribution to the region.
