Venturefest is a free, one-day event which brings together entrepreneurs, investors and innovators in the West Midlands to meet and discuss ideas.

It will be taking place from 8am to 5pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023 at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham. The day will include panel discussions, workshops, networking and an exhibition area, as well as two keynote speakers – Andy Street, mayor of the West Midlands, and Megan Goodwin, creative entrepreneur.

The event is supported by businesses, universities, science parks and business support organisations, with a particular focus on science and emerging technologies. Key themes include diversity in innovation and enterprise, health technologies, clean technologies, getting ‘investor ready’ and how to navigate business support systems.

Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up will also be running alongside Venturefest. This is a pitching competition for business owners with several awards up for grabs. It’s a great opportunity to raise your profile with potential investors.
