The Aston Programme for Small Business Growth has opened the application window for its tenth cohort.

The free programme, which helps businesses survive and thrive, provides expert advice delivered through Aston Business School. It is open to founders and CEOs of businesses based in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull or Coventry and Warwickshire LEP areas, that have been trading for at least 12 months.

Participation does require a large commitment of time and effort, but includes one-to-one support from an experienced business mentor, guidance to develop a targeted growth strategy for your business, opportunities to pitch to external finance experts and a number of workshops on various aspects of SME leadership and management. These will generally be scheduled for Wednesday afternoons on various dates between September 2022 and March 2023.

The programme also offers the opportunity to network with other early-stage business owners from the region, access Aston University’s wider support network, and to attend exclusive Business School events.
