Applications open for iSE’s FUSE programme

FUSE incubator logoFUSE Social Enterprise Start-up Incubator supports innovation in health and social care. The application window for the next cohort is now open until Monday 5 September.

Run by the Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs (iSE) and the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network, the programme focuses on innovation in health and social care. It wants to develop better services and improved health care systems that can save time, money and lives.

FUSE is led by social enterprise specialists and is designed to take entrepreneurs from an initial idea right through to launch and beyond. It offers hands-on business support, practical masterclasses, confidence building, skills development, access to a supportive community, access to a co-working space and the opportunity to take part in a live pitching event.

To apply, you must be based in the West Midlands and commit to attending the majority of the sessions throughout the three months of the programme, which starts in September 2022. Your idea must create impact in the field of health and social care, have the potential to be scalable and demonstrate sustainability.

For more information and to apply, go to the iSE’s website. The iSE also has an autumn programme of events, aimed at building the capacity of the social sector. These, along with others, are listed on our Support for social enterprises page.
