BCCC Awards 2016 open for nominations
The Black Country Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) Awards 2016 are now open for nominations. The annual awards celebrate the best in business from across the region and are looking for local businesses of all sizes from all sectors to apply.
The awards are an ideal opportunity to showcase your company and celebrate your successes. Entering is a great way to promote your goods and services and any shortlisted businesses will attract plenty of publicity and press features.
The aim of the awards is to recognise businesses that contribute towards the local economy and celebrate the success of talented organisations within the local business community.
There are ten award categories in total, covering a wide range of business sectors, and applicants are eligible to apply for more than one award. The categories are:
- Best New Business
- Business Services Provider of the Year
- Community Champion
- Excellence in Customer Service
- Excellence in Manufacturing and Engineering
- Exporter of the Year
- Innovation and Technology Award
- Small Business of the Year
- Young Person or Apprentice of the Year
- Outstanding Achievement.
The deadline for applications is 3pm on Friday 8 July and the award winners will be announced at a prestigious dinner being held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday 18 November 2016.
If you’d like to enter your business but feel that you need some help to put your entry together you can attend a free ‘Awards Writing Workshop’ being held by the BCCC in May.
