Black Sea expansion for Black Country firm
A Black Country haulier has extended its range of services to Bulgaria and Romania.
Tipton-headquartered Active Carriers, which is a member of Palletways Group, now serves customers in 20 European countries.
Paul Adams, depot principal at Active Carriers, said: “The addition of Romania and Bulgaria to the network is excellent news for both Palletways and Active Carriers “and will open up new market opportunities, which will benefit us and our customers.”
Luis Zubialde, managing director for Palletways (UK) Ltd, added: “Our expansion into the Black Sea countries means we can now deliver to more European destinations than any other pallet network and it reinforces our position as the pallet network of natural choice.
“The new service will be supported by our pan-European IT platform and central customer service operation in Madrid to ensure we provide the best customer experience.”
Palletways comprises 400 depots across Europe, with 100 in the UK.
