The amazing efforts by Sandwell businesses to survive and thrive are being celebrated in the Express & Star.

A commercial feature in the newspaper celebrates Sandwell businesses’ “heroic response” to the challenges brought by Covid-19. It gives numerous examples of businesses adapting their services to meet the demands of the pandemic, and shows how Sandwell Council has supported with business rates relief and the administration of grants.

Other schemes featured include Towns Fund developments in Rowley Regis, Smethwick and West Bromwich, the redevelopment of West Bromwich and Wednesbury town centres, the construction of the Sandwell Aquatics Centre and Midlands Metropolitan Hospital, and the Sandwell Skills Strategy.
