Burcas Ltd, an engineering company based in West Bromwich, has secured a seven-figure funding package to develop its operations in the Far East and Europe.

Founded in 1941, Burcas supplies precision engineered components to the aerospace, energy medical and transport sectors, and has been at the cutting edge of technology for over 70 years.

The new funding was secured from challenger bank Aldermore, in a deal brokered by Liquidity Club, and will be put towards increasing Burcas’s presence in both domestic and international markets. In particular, the company hopes to boost export sales across Europe, take advantage of strong growth in the aerospace and oil and gas sectors, and achieve a target of 20 per cent growth in turnover in the next year.
