Business Finance Week 2022: five days of in-person events, webinars and more

British Business Bank logoThroughout the week of Monday 7 – Friday 11 November British Business Bank, along with business support partners from across the UK, is hosting Business Finance Week 2022.

British Business Bank is a government-owned ‘business development bank’ whose services come under three streams – ‘Start up’, ‘Scale up’ and ‘Stay ahead’ – to help you access finance that suits your needs. 

During five days of nationwide and regional in-person events, webinars and more, the British Business Bank aims to help SMEs learn about the different finance options available to them to support their individual needs.

Each day will be centred around a key theme, giving smaller businesses the opportunity to hear from experts in their field on a varied range of subjects.

Get investment ready to start or grow your business 

This event will focus on how entrepreneurs can get ready for investment and best prepare for an application to the scheme. There will be a panel of entrepreneurs who will talk about their journey and attendees at the event can book a free consultation with one of First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans’ business advisers.

Make your business dream a reality with start up loans

Are you looking for startup funding to start or grow an early stage business? This event will introduce you to British Business Bank’s low-interest personal loans (for business purposes) of up to £25,000 and 12 months of free mentoring, to help you start or grow a new business. Hear from the people behind the Start Up Loans programme and inspiring entrepreneurs who have received a loan to support their own journey.

Taking place on Angel Investment Day, this UKBAA webinar will look at how founders can secure crucial growth capital to scale their business.
