Call for Sandwell companies to feature in #madeinsandwell Monday
#madeinsandwell Monday is a celebration of the talent and diversity of the businesses in our borough. It’s not just about manufacturing (although Sandwell is famous for it) but about success stories made in our pocket of the West Midlands.
Most Mondays we publish a profile of a different Sandwell business and to date we have covered everything from make-up sponges and car components to Olympic centerpieces.
Our #madeinsandwell business stars have included businesses as diverse as spice importer East End Foods of West Bromwich, heating system installation expert Lord Combustion Services of Oldbury, Smethwick-based box manufacturer J4 Packaging and logistics company Sheldon Clayton.
We have crossed bridges with Oldbury-based Currall Lewis & Martin (Construction) Ltd and raised the roof with Howells Patent Glazing Limited of Cradley Heath. We have met family businesses such as Addison Tyres and lauded large corporations such as Liberty Engineering Group.
We have profiled award-winning businesses, such as A&M EDM, which makes components for personal jet packs, hypersonic engines, space explorers, deep-sea equipment and more. We have celebrated innovative new businesses such as paint recycling firm Paint 360, and businesses that have evolved as they’ve grown, such as Rotech Laboratories [pictured] and David Manners Group.
All the local businesses that we have covered agree that being situated in Sandwell offers them many benefits. These include excellent transport links, great support from Sandwell Council and strong, diverse workforce talent.
Would you like your business to feature in #madeinsandwell Monday? Each profile that we publish offers readers an engaging overview of what that business does and where its products and services are used. Remember: you don’t need to make things.
We then share each profile through our various social media channels, including Twitter, so taking part is a great way to promote your business whilst celebrating everything that Sandwell has to offer.
So whatever the size or age of your business and whatever sector you work in we’d love to hear from you. All you need to do is complete our #madeinsandwell Monday questionnaire from this page and email it back to us with a few high-quality images.
