They have just released posters for businesses in the six towns of Sandwell. You can download them from these links for display in your premises:

Covid reponsible business – Rowley Regis

Deputy Council Leader Councillor Maria Crompton said the latest campaign targets shops and other businesses to step up and show their commitment.

She said: “We should all know by now what we are meant to do – to maintain good hand hygiene and social distancing and when we need to wear face coverings – and we want our local businesses to be reinforcing those things too.

“Put up the poster to show customers you’re taking responsibility and that they are safe in your space.”

Dr Adrian Philips from PHE West Midlands said: “This is a great idea – we want all sectors to play their part and it is good to see businesses an agencies working well together.

“Everyone has an individual responsibility to protect themselves and the wider community from catching and spreading COVID-19 and it is now law that people must wear face coverings in enclosed public places – including shops.

“I hope this will encourage retailers to do everything they can to promote a COVID-secure environment to protect their customers and staff.”

Think Sandwell is aware that businesses which do not abide by the rules will be closed, and we urge everyone to do the right thing. For support, see our coronavirus resources for Sandwell businesses.
