Can you rise to the 5G challenge?
Innovative manufacturers have until Friday 20 August to apply to the 5PRING 5G Manufacturing Accelerator programme.
5PRING is an open innovation platform that works with start-ups, enterprise organisations, sector experts and technology providers to leverage 5G technology to transform the way we live and do business.
Companies including as BAM Nuttall Ltd, AttoCore, BRE Group Ltd, Make UK, CELSA Group, DENSO, AE Aerospace Ltd, BAE Systems and BMI have signed up as ‘challenge owners’ on the Manufacturing Accelerator. Organisations working in augmented reality, virtual reality, internet of things, artificial intelligence and edge computing are strongly encouraged to apply for an opportunity to work with the ‘challenge owners’ to develop solutions in plant operations and site monitoring.
Successful applicants will have access to expert coaches and mentors, as well as the Wayra investor network and accelerator service, the West Midlands 5G local network, a 5G private network and testbed, Digital Catapult technical experts and a dedicated accelerator facility. They will also benefit from business development support from the 5PRING corporate partners, and £100,000 of consultancy from Deloitte.
For more details, or to apply, visit the 5PRING website. The application form is quite extensive and will take some time to complete, so don’t leave it until the last minute!
