Contractor appointed on Vaughan Park development
A&H Construction has been named as the contractor tasked with delivering the regeneration of Tipton’s historic Vaughan Park industrial site, on behalf of developers CEG.
The Halesowen firm broke ground on the development in March, starting the first phase of the planned work – five units totalling 80,000 sq ft – which will be ready for the first tenants to move into before the end of the year. The building work in Tipton will eventually create up to 500,000 sq ft of warehouse and industrial space, as well as employment opportunities in the region.
The investment and jobs to be created by the Vaughan Park development have been warmly welcomed in the region, and hailed as a demonstration that Sandwell is a great place to invest, with established supply chains, great access to the motorway network, and a highly skilled workforce.
As a local business, A&H Construction is proud to be involved in the project and is looking forward to extending its contacts in the local supply chain in order to deliver the scheme. Bulleys and CBRE have been appointed as agents for the site.
