Breedon Southern, a Derby-based subsidiary of the Breedon Group has acquired Oldbury-based Pro Mini Mix Concrete, Mortars and Screeds Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Pro Mini Mix specialises in delivering small loads of ready-made concrete to sites across the West Midlands. Its fleet of eight mixer trucks will now be relocated to Breedon Southern’s new plant in Walsall.

The Breedon Group has its headquarters in Leicestershire, while subsidiary Breedon Southern is based in Derby. It already operates a mini mix business, 1stMix, which has a strong presence in the East Midlands and East Anglia. The acquisition of Pro Mini Mix will enable the firm to expand its business into the West Midlands market.
