Electric vehicle charging innovation showcase event

Close up of two electric cars plugged into a chargerInnovate UK KTN is holding an electric vehicle (EV) charging event on Tuesday 5 July to showcase innovative charging solutions.

The aim of the event is to help inform organisations about future market opportunities in the EV infrastructure space. It will cover new EV charging products and services that address the challenges faced in rolling out infrastructure, particularly in congested urban areas and locations with energy constraints.

The showcase will feature innovative charging solutions developed with funding from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), delivered through Innovate UK over the last three years.

The exhibition area will provide the opportunity to discuss the needs of your business with the developers and listen to a series of short seminars focussing on the technological, operational and energy focussed solutions created to help EV charging roll-out.

Spaces at the in-person event are limited so it is only open to fleet operators and local authorities. If you do not meet this criteria or for those not able to attend the event in Sheffield, there will be recordings of the talks available to watch after the event.

Back in April, Sandwell Council and Energy Saving Trust hosted a webinar for SMEs wanting to know about the benefits of using electric vehicles for their businesses. You can watch the recording on our Going greener page.
